At 26, Phillip adapted COVER ME from the novel by Mark Arnold, directing Danny Trejo, Jesse Metcalfe, Jaci Velasquez, and T.C. Stallings in his first fictional feature-length film.

During the Pandemic, Phillip and his wife, writer/actress Leah Bateman began production on a feature-length musical called WHERE WERE YOU. With songs they wrote together about their own lives, the project is dear to their hearts and inspired by their story.
